Super Visa

A super visa is a type of visitor visa/ TRV which lets parents or grandparents to visit their child or grandchild who is a Canadian citizen or a permanent resident for up to 2 years on initial entry to Canada. It’s a multi-entry visa that provides multiple entries for a period up to 10 years.
To be eligible for a super visa:
You must be the parent or grandparent of a Canadian citizen or a permanent resident of Canada
Your child or grandchild must provide a letter of invitation that details the living arrangement, commitment of financial support for the duration of your stay, number of family members and etc.
Your child or grandchild must also meet a minimum income threshold based on the low-income cut-off (LICO)
You need to purchase a medical insurance from a Canadian insurance company. This medical insurance must be valid for at least 1 year from the date of entry and has at least $100,000 coverage.
You need to take an immigration medical exam
