This is an immigration pilot program developed to meet the labour needs of the Canadian agri-food industry and meanwhile to offer a pathway to permanent residence for non-seasonal workers in eligible industries and occupations. The Agri-Food Pilot program will be in effect till May 2023.
You can apply for PR under the Agri-Food Pilot program if you:
have a valid job offer from a Canadian employer (except Quebec)
achieve CLB 4 in English or NCLC 4 in French
have a high school diploma
have 12 months of full-time Canadian work experience in the last 3 years
For oversea applicants, you need to apply for a work permit and come to work in Canada as a temporary foreign worker. You can then apply for PR through this pilot program after accumulating the required Canadian work experience.
